Fall into Aberdeen's First Friday for Fun

Celebrate Dia de los Muertos, (Day of the Dead) by stopping by to check out all of the fantastic new Dia de los Muertos art at the Aberdeen Art Center (just across from the Post Office).

Ten local artists along with artists from Oregon and Washington states are included in the unique exhibit. The art display showcases a "theatre of the macabre."

Then meet your tour guide outside of Cortese's Restaurant (212 S. "I" St.) for a special one hour version of the Murder, Madams & Mayhem Walking Tour! There will be TWO time slots available for the tours: 5:30 & 6:30 p.m. No reservations needed!

The cost is a discounted $10 (cash only) and will still cover all of the exciting stories from Aberdeen's historic past! So, prepare to step back in time to the days when Billy Gohl still roamed the streets. (Participants will also receive a coupon for 15% off entrees at Cortese's Restaurant upon completion of the tour. Walk rain or shine.)

Then swing by and see the photographic works of Will Glessner and Ruth Zschomler at Harbor House (7-8 p.m.), 510 W. 1st St. We'll have snacks and sparkling cider as well as hot coffee and cocoa on to end your evening in Aberdeen.

  1. I must have missed something, or maybe my blonde roots just grow deep. I didn't see an actual date for this event, can you please clarify when it is?
