New Harbor House Writing Center Offers First Public Reading Salon

Photographer Will Glessner's "Muted Colors" on exhibit.
Aberdeen, Wash.— Harbor House Center for Writing and the Arts will stage their first ever quarterly Reading Salon since opening Sept. 26, 7-8:30 p.m. on October, 1. The event, featuring local poet Dwight Johnson and other writers, is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

Two photographers, Ruth Zschomler and Will Glessner, have their work on exhibit in the center’s library gallery through October. Zschomler’s showing of three black and white prints is titles “Sea Scenes” and Glessner’s collection of seven prints is titled “Muted Colors.”

There is still room for other writers to join in the reading and Harbor House is always looking for local artists to display. Contact Greg Zschomler at 360.532.2676 or at harborhousewriters@yahoo.com to sign-up or get more information.
