Changes and Firsts at Harbor House

Harbor House programming and technique isn't set in stone. We're always open to change and ready to morph with the needs of our clients.

Right now we're trying out different hours to see what people use. For the time being it has become apparent that the evening hours we first set are not required. So, we have decided to close in the evening and expand our morning offering.

Our hours were: 8 a.m. to noon and 6-10 p.m. Our NEW HOURS are: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. We will further adjust as we see needed. Please let us know what hours you would find accommodating.

Saturday's Salon Set-up

Saturday, October 1st we'll be offering our first quarterly Salon Reading. Local writers are joined by readers and those who love story.

Our featured reader is poet Dwight Johnson.

The event begins at 7 p.m., should last an hour to an hour and a half, is free and is open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

Writers are welcome to come by and read from their work. While there is no need to sign up in advance it is recommended to assure a spot.
